Take a minute to write to Mitch.

It all begins with an idea.

Mitchell Clarke

Mitch is a seasoned wedding officiant who has been in the industry since 2008. He was ordained as a minister in 1981 and served in the Vancouver area for 25 years.

Let me tell you about his journey. After having a heart attack in 2005 Mitchell knew it was time for a lifestyle change. His focus turned to his health and he had a remarkable full recovery after joining the YMCA Healthy Heart Program. It is then that he became a dedicated and enthusiastic fitness instructor for the program and renewed his enjoyment for working out. During this time he also found his passion for conducting weddings, baby blessings/dedications, and funerals or celebration of life services.

Mitch has a deep love for people and is committed to serving their needs. His warmth and personality shine bright in all he does. His focus with each couple is to connect and help them make their special day as unique as they are. Mitch is flexible to make every ceremony tailored to what you want: traditional or completely creative, religious or nonreligious, short and sweet or chalk full of all the content you choose. Mitch is highly detailed, but will put you at ease and support you through the process of planning and  savouring your wedding day.

When Mitch is not busy meeting with couples or at the gym, he might be found riding his vintage motorcycle, bicycling Vancouver's many paths, making the perfect cappuccino, working on getting his lawn green, or simply smelling the roses. He enjoys life with his loving wife of 43 years, four grown children, grandchildren and puppies.
